Method
Make sure you’ve cut the woody ends off of your asparagus.
Add them to a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss the asparagus to get every spear fully coated.
250 g asparagus spears, 1 tbsp olive oil, 0.5 tsp flaky sea salt, 0.5 tsp black pepper
Place the asparagus in your air fryer in an even layer, trying to keep them evenly spaced out for maximum crispiness.
Cook your asparagus in the air fryer for 5-6 minutes at 200C or until crispy and just beginning to turn golden brown in some places.
Plate up the asparagus and zest the lemon over it. Squeeze over the lemon juice too.

The cooked asparagus is best served fresh, but can also be stored in the fridge in an air tight container for up to three days.
