For this recipe, I used Reeses peanut butter cups with milk chocolate to stick the pretzels (antlers), edible eyes, and red m&m’s (nose) to.

You could use whatever peanut butter cup brand you most prefer though, and even use chocolate pretzels for an extra indulgent treat!

Assembly Notes

These reindeer bites are very easy to put together, but here’s a few notes to make sure you get the perfect result:

  • Pretzels: We cut the mini pretzels in half for this recipes, to create two antlers per peanut butter cup. Make sure you’re gentle when doing this, and have extra pretzels on hand, as it can be easy for the pretzels to break!
  • Chocolate: Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl at 30 second bursts to make sure it doesn’t burn in the microwave. About 1 minute should be enough to melt your chocolate!
  • M&Ms: Be aware that m&m’s may not be safe for younger children – you could use a blob of red icing as an alternative.
