How To Make This Chili Roasted Potato Recipe
Again, the exact step-by-step instructions and ingredient quantities will be in the recipe card at the bottom of this page.
Below is an overview of making this recipe, plus some process shots to help you visualize how this recipe should turn out.
Step 1) Cube & Par-Boil
Start by cubing your potatoes (I like to keep mine relatively small for maximum crispiness!). Then, par-boil your cubed baking potatoes for 10 minutes, drain, then shake the potoates to rough up the edges.
Step 2) Add Spices & Roast
Add the potatoes to a baking sheet and top with chili flakes, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne chili pepper along with your olive oil, and roast your potatoes for 35 - 45 minutes, shaking them halfway through.
Step 3) (Optional) Add Honey
A nice addition is to add 1 tablespoon honey to the roast potatoes after they're cooked, giving them a deliciously sweet and sticky flavor.
Top the potatoes with more fresh parsley.
What To Serve Your Chili Roasted Potatoes With
As mentioned above, these roasted potatoes are perfect served with this creamy French onion dip. You could also serve them as a part of a wider spread, such as with these harissa vegetarian meatballs, with a garlicky lemon tahini yogurt, these creamy butter beans, fluffy flatbreads, and a big green side salad.

Storing
Store any leftover chili roasted potatoes in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Reheat in the microwave, or place them in the air fryer for 5-8 minutes or oven for 10 - 12 minutes to crisp them back up.
